Objective
Bango set out to reclaim brand visibility by capturing competitor digital spaces and reaching food lovers at moments of culinary inspiration, reinforcing the brand's authentic taste and trust while driving impactful engagement without relying on costly sponsorships.

In a crowded culinary category, paid sponsorships and traditional targeting often deliver scale without relevance. Bango needed a smarter way to show up inside the moments competitors were owning and align with food content that genuinely inspired action.
Strategy & Execution
To reach audiences at peak culinary inspiration, Bango activated Silverpush's Mirrors 2.0 across TikTok and YouTube. The campaign strategically intercepted competitor-owned digital spaces, tapping into sponsored content, recipe videos, and culinary creator placements where rival brands were active. By hijacking these moments, Bango ensured its message reached food lovers exactly when they were primed for inspiration.
Beyond competitor conquest, Mirrors 2.0 aligned Bango's message with high-intent cooking moments such as recipe tutorials, ingredient deep dives, and home-cooking content tied to Indonesian flavours. Real-time insights continuously optimise placements and budgets in flight, using performance signals from both platforms to maximise the value of every impression and keep the campaign performing at its peak.
Results
The campaign delivered exceptional performance across both platforms, comfortably surpassing benchmarks. On YouTube, Bango achieved a 52.97% VTR and 0.47% CTR, which represents 2.35x the platform benchmark for clicks. On TikTok, the campaign drove a 45.71% VTR (2.28x higher than benchmark) and a 0.29% CTR. Together, these results underscored strong audience engagement and delivered a 1.9% relative lift overall, proving that hijacking competitor spaces with intelligent context can outperform traditional sponsorship spend.
