Objective

During India's festive season, personal grooming becomes part of the preparation, from festive parties to family events. A well-known personal grooming brand entered this high-attention window with two propositions, a 5-in-1 styling kit for women and a precision trimmer for men, aiming to reach consumers in the exact moments when festive grooming decisions were already forming.

Challenges

The challenge wasn't festive reach, but festive relevance. Every personal care brand shows up during the season with offers, celebrity campaigns, and styling inspiration, so attention is everywhere and nowhere. Grooming intent forms in very specific moments, watching a hairstyle tutorial before a party or researching the perfect trim before Diwali, and these moments live in completely different content worlds. The task was to identify those intent-rich environments and appear exactly where grooming decisions were taking shape.

Strategy & Execution

The brand partnered with Silverpush to deploy Mirrors, an AI-powered contextual intelligence solution, across YouTube on Connected TV, analyzing video environments in real time to surface signals around hairstyling tutorials, grooming advice, celebrity looks, and product comparisons. For women, the brand appeared within beauty and hairstyling environments where festive looks were already being explored, positioning the styling kit as the tool for creating festive-ready looks at home.

For men, the campaign mapped an entirely different ecosystem: stand-up comedy, gaming creators, and grooming research around beard styling and trimmer comparisons, placing the trimmer exactly where those decisions were being considered. Two audiences, two content ecosystems, with the brand showing up not where attention was merely available, but where festive grooming decisions were already underway.

Results

The campaign captured attention at scale during the year's most competitive advertising window, delivering 13M+ impressions and 11.1M+ completed views. The women's styling kit drove 7.85M impressions and an 85.36% completion rate across 2.6M unique viewers, while the men's trimmer delivered 5.24M impressions and an 85.59% completion rate across 1.75M unique viewers. Sustaining 85%+ video completion across both audiences proved the point of contextual precision: when a brand appears inside the right moment of intent, audiences don't skip; they watch.
